The bone can be easily replaced after several uses. Once the bone is replaced return the cover over the bone and the unit is ready for training.
Storing Nasco Healthcare's Training Aids
Nasco Healthcare Manikins should be stored within a temperature range of 60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
Manikins should be stored in a cool, dry environment, lying flat in their storage containers. If manikins are stored in temperatures over 80 degrees Fahrenheit, the manikin material may become pliable and any pressure applied such as weight of the manikin on the head, and any pressure applied may cause distortion, including the weight of the head. Re-warming and allowing cooling without pressure may allow most manikins to revert to their original shape.
Storage below 60 degrees Fahrenheit is not recommended because the manikin material may become brittle and susceptible to cracking. if rough handling is used. Allow the manikin to become room temperature before utilizing.
